It is with a heavy heart that we are sorry to announce that our beautiful show, “Cabaret” is being put on PAUSE.
We are currently cancelling all shows in March, and tentatively our shows the first weekend in April, in anticipation of Monterey County following suit with SF, Hollister and Santa Cruz among others, shutting down all non-essential business.
Tickets are no longer available, as we are waiting for word from government officials as to how long our shelter in place order may last, and also discussing with our licensing company about postponing our performance dates.
We know this is extremely disappointing, and no one is more saddened by this cancellation than our cast and crew, but our community’s health and safety must come first, and we must listen to those with the knowledge of how to fight this virus.
Please know that we will do everything in our power to bring this incredibly important performance to our community as soon as we are able, and anyone who has purchased tickets will be given priority access to that event when it happens. If you purchased a ticket online, you will be receiving an email with details. If you purchased a pre-sale ticket from a cast member, Please feel free to reach out to us via private message and we will give you all the details as to how to redeem your tickets for any future Paper Wing show.
Be kind to one another. There is a lot of fear and anxiety and what the world needs most right now is patience and understanding. Stay home, if you are able. Take care of your loved ones, share your supplies with those in need if you have more to give. Take care of each other. That’s the only way we’ll get through this.
Lastly: small companies like ours put everything on the line to produce this kind of art. We are not a non-profit, and this closure will hit us hard. We are asking, if you are able, to make any donation you can, to help us stay afloat.
