It’s the future…not too distant. …where rent is too high, and decent jobs are scarce. Large corporations now control everything…entire households are, for convenience of course, controlled by a giant network. Our phones, entertainment, climate, communication are simply a voice command away and a virtual reality world has become the new escape for humanity. Your guide in this virtual world is the lovely and accommodating “Miss V.” Just put the “V-helm” on, and be transported away from the real world…just so long as you follow the Terms of Use.
But, orphaned hacker CC thinks he’s found a way to visit the afterlife using his modified “V-helm”…by simulating death scenarios over and over, searching for his murdered parents. Yet his explorations come at a price, the device is slowly killing him and his sisters, Martha and Fanta, and best friend, Erik, work together to try to get to the bottom of life’s biggest question, “Is there life after death?” without losing CC along the way.
